Ann Wagner knows Missouri values, because she’s lived here her whole life. And when we needed a leader in Congress, Ann stepped up. Ann is fighting every day to protect our way of life and stand for our Missouri values.
Ann is a leader in the fight against sex trafficking.
Sadly, sex trafficking exists in every community throughout the United States, and the St. Louis region is no exception. Ann has led the fight against sex trafficking in the U.S. House of Representatives. As a mother, she believes we have a moral obligation to stop the devastating consequences of sex trafficking, where innocent young men and women are dragged into the abyss of modern day slavery.
In 2015, Congress passed and the President signed a bill that Ann authored called the SAVE Act, which places the strongest possible penalties on the advertising of trafficked children under the age of fourteen. Every year, thousands of American children are at risk of falling victim to human trafficking, and Ann has made it one of her top priorities to fight back in defense of our sons and daughters.
Ann is protecting us against fraud & identity theft.
While the IRS has done nothing to protect taxpayers’ identities, Ann is leading the way, protecting us against fraud and identity theft — holding the IRS accountable.
And Ann is fighting for our families.
American families deserve better opportunities to save for their future. Ann is proud to serve on the House Financial Services Committee and has worked to make sure that critical investment tools are accessible to Americans of all income levels. When it comes to investment advice, the priorities of Missouri families should always come first.
Ann believes that low- and middle-income Americans should have access to affordable financial advice for their retirement, as well as the freedom to decide for themselves what tools best suit their families’ needs and goals.
