Wagner criticizes McCaskill for not bucking Democrat filibuster of trafficking bill

Fresh Senate gridlock over abortion has sparked another public disagreement between two Missouri members of Congress who could someday face one another on a statewide ballot.

With Senate Republicans preparing again Thursday to try to break a Democratic filibuster threat on legislation to fight human trafficking, Rep. Ann Wagner, R-Ballwin, on Wednesday wrote Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., asking McCaskill to break with her party and vote to allow the bill to be debated.
