Ann Wagner (R-Ballwin) released the following statement on filing for Re-election:
“Over the past five years I have had the privilege to serve as your representative in Congress, and together we have worked to solve some of the most serious issues facing our community. I believe that serving in Congress is more than a job; it is a calling to give a voice to the voiceless and to serve a cause greater than oneself.
“I am filing for re-election today because there is still work to be done, and over the coming months I look forward to speaking directly with my friends and neighbors in the Second District about the opportunities for the future.
“Whether preserving the local NGA facility, strengthening our defense with locally manufactured Growlers and Super Hornets, or passing landmark legislation to combat online sex trafficking, I have always stood up for my hometown and for each of you. Whatever the challenge, I have worked to find solutions that keep our communities safe and allow families to take home more of their hard-earned money. I am excited to talk about the important issues facing this region, and I am optimistic about the many things we have left to accomplish together, for our community, for Missouri, and for our nation.”
